1440 people

Explanation:

If we have 45 people per square kilometer, and we have 32 square kilometers, we can imagine it as a little “table.”

There are 32 boxes, and inside each of those 32 boxes, there are 45 little dots.

This is multiplication, so we can just multiply 32 and 45.


32\cdot45=1440
