Answer:

When two or more representatives of a company interview a candidate at the same time, it is referred to as board or panel interview.

It is in most cases a formal interview and is common with high-level positions, in academia and for government positions.

It is usually more effective to have a carefully selected team for a board interview. A divided panel will produce very poor results with a board interview. The questions to be asked are equally important.

Cheers!
