Correct Question:-

  • (2x - 3)² - (3x - 2)²

Solution:-

Given, To Factorise

➝ (2x - 3)² - (3x - 2)²

Opening the parentheses,

➝ (4x² - 12x + 9) - (9x² - 12x + 4)

➝ 4x² - 12x + 9 - 9x² + 12x - 4

Arranging the like terms,

➝ 4x² - 9x² - 12x + 12x + 9 - 4

➝ -5x² + 5

➝ -5(x² - 1)
.

[ Identity :- (a² - b²) = (a + b)(a - b) ]

➝ -5(x² - 1²)

➝ -5(x + 1)(x - 1)

☘ Hence, Factorised !!

Answer

-5x^2+5

Explanation:

(2x-3)^2-(3x-2)^2

=4x^2-12x+9-(9x^2-12x+4)

=4x^2-12x+9-9x^2+12x-4

=4x^2+9-9x^2-4

=-5x^2+5
