Assuming that the shape of the atmosphere remains a SPHERE,

all we need to do to solve this problem is calculate the volume of a sphere/ball.

The formula to do so is ...

(4)/(3)\pi r^(3)

But what is "r" in the equation?

*Remember that "r" is HALF of the diameter

The diameter of this specific hemisphere is 41.6, so the radius would be ...

41.6 ÷ 2 = 20.8

Now let's plug this value into our equation and solve!

V =
(4)/(3)\pi 20.8^(3)

V = 37,694.6
