Studying history is extremely important to our understanding of politics and the social and economical problems of today because we have a better understanding of the decisions that were made in the past and what their specific affects were. Due to this, we can decide whether it would be appropriate to make a similar decision by today's standards or whether that decision didn't work out and shouldn't be considered.
