2. How was the life of a 14-year-old in 1793 different from the life of a 14-year-old today? In which

period would you rather live? Why?

Answer:

Back in 1793 the 14-year old had more responsibilities,

he was considered an adult, and had a much harder life than 14-year olds do today. The average 14-year old was likely unable to read or write and had probably lost several brothers or sisters due to the infant mortality the rate at that time was high

.

Now more 14 year old goes to school can read and have less responsibilties than back at the 1793.

Explanation: I would rather live here because we have more technologies, we have education and less responsibities
