first equation:


[(4x-3)/(x+2)=(2x)/(x+5)](x+2)(x+5)\\\\(4x-3)(x+5)=2x(x+2)\\\\4x(x)+4x(5)-3(x)-3(5)=2x(x)+2x(2)\\\\4x^2+20x-3x-15=2x^2+4x\\\\4x^2-2x^2+20x-3x-4x-15=0\\\\2x^2+13x-15=0

In this case you use the quadratic formula:
