PLEASE HELP Which ordered pair is a solution of the line y – 2x = 6? (2, 2) (0, -3) (-3, 0) (1, -3)

0,-3

Explanation:

first you want to find the equation of the line by adding 2x to both sides to get

y=2x+6

then you would plug in the numbers to find the correct points.

(2)=2(2)+6

this doesn't work so it is not the answer

(0)=2(-3)+6

that would work so the answer would be 0,-3

Explanation:

I just plugged in each ordered pair till i found the correct one. But you could also graph the line y= 2x + 6 and see which coordinate it goes through
