First let's re write the equation -5x+6y=14 as

5x-6y=-14 by multiplying through by negative(-)

next I to find the intercepts. To find the intercept on line y we make x=0 therefore

5(0)-6y=-14

-6y=-14

y=2.33 by dividing both sides by -6

do the same for the ( x )

x=-2.8
