A horn is formed when when glaciers erode three or more aretes. An arete is a thin crest of rock which is left after two glaciers worn a steep ridge. The Cirque is an amphitheater like a valley which is formed by glacial erosion. There are no horn, cirques and aretes in Ohio because glaciers have reshaped the surface of Ohio. Glaciers have scrapped and flattened the surface of Ohio.
