Let's try to understand what does this mean :

  • in a group of 100 people there is possibility of finding 2 people with this genetic mutation
  • in a group of 1000 the possibility raises to 20 people so we can deduce that each time we add a zero we add a zero in 2

so :

  • 100⇒2
  • 1000⇒20
  • 10000⇒200
  • 100000⇒2000

and so on
