Distribute.

2.5*6x-2.5*4=10+4*1.5+4*0.5x

15x-10=10+6+2x

Combine like terms.

15x-10=16+2x

Add 10 to both sides

15x-10+10=16+10+2x

15x=26+2x

Subtract 2x from both sides.

15x-2x=26+2x-2x

13x=26

Divide both sides by 13

x=2
