Area of pond:

A=
\pi r^(2)

r=1,5m

A=3,142*1,5*1,5=7,0695

Area of pond with path

B=
\pi r^(2)

r=50 cm+1,5m=0,5m+1,5m=2m

B=3,142*2*2=12,568

Area of path:

12,568-7,0695=5,4985=5,50

Answer:

5.5 cm²

Explanation:

Area of path = Area of path and the pool - area of pool

Area of pool = πr² = 3.14* 1.5 * 1.5 =7.065 cm²

Area of path along with pool:

Width of path = 50 cm = 0.5 m

Here r = 1.5 + 0.5 = 2 m

Area of path along with pool = 3.14 * 2 * 2

= 12.56 cm²

Area of path = 12.56 - 7.065 = 5.495 = 5.50 cm²
