Divide into two rectangle

In the below one

  • L=1+3=4mm
  • B=2mm

Area=4(2)=8mm^2

In above one

  • L=5-2=3mm
  • B=3mm

Area=3(3)=9mm^2

Total area

  • 9+8=17mm^2
