A paper manufacturer packages twelve reams of paper in a box—in three stacks of four reams. A ream of paper weighs 5 pounds and has dimensions of 8.5 inches by 11 inches by 2 inches. Identify three unique ways to package the paper given the new weight condition. Include both the dimensions of the new boxes, as well as a verbal description of how the reams will be packaged. You may include sketches if you wish.

answer

its easier to hold a (2*8.5,11,2*5=17,11,17)compact box

step by step Step-by-step explanation

each ream weighs 5p thus reducing 10p means 2 reams are removed from the twelve remaining ten.

10reams wont fit in 3 three stacks since it wont be a symmetric arrangement as 1 will be left out so 2 stacks of 5 each will be easy to carry but the stacks should be placed in such a way that the length are parallel to one another and not in line which would increase the length making it longer
