help the Colonists during the American

It would give them food, clothing, and money. This would give them an advantage to become healthy. Also they could get new recruit from the large amount of people living there. After that, the people or the colonist could send things to their home and family. After that they could pack up objects to save for late. Other advantages also include the fact that they could make a fort or base there. Along with that, since they have the ports, they can send different messages to people who support them. For example, the french could send supplies.
