x= y√(x) -2 That could be the answer if I did it right, I haven't done this since 8th grade so not sure. Hope it helps tho

Explanation:

SO first thing I'd do is subtract two from both sides


y=x^2+2

-2 -2


y-2=x^2

Then to solve it, do the opposite of squaring X, so square root it


y-2=x^2


√(x) \\
√(x) \\


x= y√(x) -2
