a. solution,

radius(r)=7 cm

Area of quarter circle= pi (r)^2/4

= 3.142*(7)^2/4

= 3.142*49/4

=38.4895 cm^2

b. Solution,

radius=11 cm

area of semicircle=1/2*pi*(r)^2

=1/2*3.142*(11)^2

=1/2*3.142*121

=190.091 cm^2
