Phospholipids bilayers are important components of cell and act asa selective passage of certain substances into and out of cells.

Phospholipids are found in large amount in liver, brain and blood because they have the property of self-sealing or regenrating. Hydrophobic interactions due to hydrophobic tail and hydrophilic head in phospholipid allow force for membrane formation and helps in self sealing of liver, brain and blood.

self-sealing means if any organ or cell is disrupted mechanically, they automatically reseal or regenrate.

Hence, phospholipid provide regenerative properties to liver, brain and blood cell.
