X= 69 degrees as it is an alternate angle to ‘69 degrees’. Whilst y=69 degrees too, as it is supplementary(180-111=69)
Therefore, x=69. Y=69. x=y

Answer:

a) 69

b) 69

Explanation:

Since 69 and x are alternate interior angles, they must be congruent, and therefore x must equal 69 degrees. Similarly, since y and 111 must be supplementary, it must also be equal to 180-111=69 degrees. Hope this helps!
