Before reaction, total number of nitrogen atoms is 2, also the total hydrogen atoms is 6. After the reaction, still, we have the same number of nitrogen atoms as 2, and hydrogen atoms as 6. This therefore obeys the law of conservation of mass that during a chemical reaction, matter is neither created nor destroyed.
