Pepsin is the gastric enzyme that initiates protein digestion.

The pepsinogen is first produced by the stomach lining. This is the inactive form. It reacts with is the stomach acid ( dil Hcl) to form pepsin(active form).

The ducts in the pathway by which pancreatic juice flows from the pancreas to the duodenum is the pancreatic duct

The Amino acids formed from the breakdown of Protein helps in the synthesis of enzymes, hormones and other biological cell components.

Amino helps in the replacement of worn out tissues.

It also helps in mental development and reduction of fatigue.
