1. Disagree, You cannot make assumptions of a person based on external appearances whether it be emotional or physical. Acknowledging the deeper roots of humanity will help create a better understanding.
2. Agree, Past events help shape a person into who they are today. This changes someone’s decision making and reactions, thus changing present events.
3. Agree, A persons pass can affect their behavior. Even though you may not know the extent of their life, we must take into consideration the fact that there might be something going on in their life.
4. Agree, People are born with innocence, looking for basic happiness and survival. Some people do not have the ability or resources to control natural growth, changing the way they act. There are evil people, but we do not start out that way.
5. Agree, Childhood-adolescence is the most active development of the brain. Once the brain matures and starts developing, it is more difficult to make drastic change to oneself. That is why during childhood abuse, without the right support, it can completely change a person.
6. Disagree, You cannot stick a label/law to a person and expect them to fit into that category.
7. Disagree, I believe that very few of our decisions are based off impulse. Humans are naturally active thinkers, forcing us to contemplate on our decisions. There are exceptions based on an individuals mental status and impulse control.
8. Agree, Aggression is rooted in our genetics and basic human emotions. It is purely based off self-control whether or not someone acts on these feelings.
9. Disagree, Making significant change takes a span of months or even years to see a difference, Quick change is often external and forced instead of internal and natural.
10. Agree, Naturally humans seek for self-benefit as almost a survival instinct. This results in impulsive and selfish decisions. As we mature, we learn to control this behavior.
