Given:

2x -3 > 11 -5x

Simplify both sides:

2x - 3 > -5x + 11

Add 5x to both sides:

2x - 3 +5x > -5x + 11 +5

7x - 3 > 11

Add 3 to both sides:

7x - 3 +3 > 11 + 3

7x > 14

Divided 7 to both sides:


(7x)/(7) >
(14)/(7)

x > 2
