The base of a rectangular pyramid has a length of 3 inches and a width of 2 inches. The height of the pyramid is 6 inches. Find the volume of the pyramid.

Explanation:

V = (B * h) / 3, where B is the area of the base and h is the height.

The base is a rectangle, so it's easy to find it's area:

B = 3 * 2 = 6

Now just find the volume:

V = (6 * 6) / 3 = 36 / 3 = 12in³
