Answer:

Surface area of the smaller pyramid will be 225 cm²

Explanation:

Two similar pyramids have their matching or corresponding sides in the ratio of 5 : 7.

In other words,

\frac{\text{One side of the smaller pyramid}}{\text{One side of the larger pyramid}} =
(5)/(7)

Therefore,
\frac{\text{Surface area of the smaller pyramid}}{\text{Surface area of the larger pyramid}} =
((5)/(7))^(2)

\frac{S_{\text{small}}}{S_{\text{large}}}=(25)/(49)

\frac{S_{\text{small}}}{441}=(25)/(49)

S_{\text{Small}}=(441* 25)/(49)

= 225 cm²

Therefore, surface area of the smaller pyramid will be 225 cm².
