We've been given to find out the exactly same equivalent expression for the equation 4(x + 5) + 8x by using distributive property.

Distributive property is nothing but it is a simple property in mathematics which is very common to use and help to simply the equation.

Now, multiplying 4 to the (x + 5) we get,

\implies\sf{4(x + 5) + 8x}

\implies\sf{4x + 20 + 8x}

\implies\sf{4x + 8x + 20}

\implies\sf{12x + 20}

  • The simplest equivalent expression is 12x + 20
