The shape above is a regular hexagon and a regular octagon the both of them have the same interior angle through out. For a polygon to be regular all it interior angle are the same .

sum of interior angles of a polygon = (n - 2)180°

where

n = number of sides

Therefore,

sum of interior angle of a hexagon = (6 - 2)180

sum of interior angle of a hexagon = (4)180

sum of interior angle of a hexagon = 720

each angle of a regular hexagon = 720/6 = 120°

sum of interior angles of an octagon = (8- 2)180

sum of interior angles of an octagon = (6)180

sum of interior angles of an octagon = 1080

each angle of a regular octagon = 1080/8 = 135°

All the angle around a point add up to 360°. So if we take the interior angle from 360° we will get angle x

360 - (135° + 120°)

360 - 255

x = 105°
