What interesting research question would you do in space?

Answer: Space is truly a fascinating place. I feel like being in space would inspire me to do research on a question related to/about something historical that happened in space.

Maybe a question like, "How did we "quote on quote" lose the technology to get back into space?" I still don't understand how we could lose some tech so important. I would do further research on if that's really true.
