Answer:

A ligase is any enzyme that is able to accelerate/begin the joining of two large molecules (this process is also known as litigation). It does this by forming a new chemical bond between the two molecules. Because ligase helps to join or "glue" molecules together, it can be called The Gluer. Hope this helps!
