Answer:

1a) 0.03 = 3/100 = 3%

2b) 0.08 = 8/100 = 8%

3c) 0.4 = 4/100 =4%

4d) 3/90

5e) 4/90

Explanation:

a, b, c we multiply the probability of each one green = 1/10 red = 3/10 blue = 4/10 yellow = 2/10

They are independant and they are replaced.

2a ) they are dependent as they are not replaced so before multiplying we see the total is reduced each turn. From 1/10 to 3/9 for green and red.

They mention independent as they stay independent per 2 picks.

Meaning red is dependant on green but yellow is not dependant on when we pick for red its only dependant for blue.

1 x 3 = 3 10x 9 = 90 = 3/90 green and red

2 x 4 = 8 10 x 9 = 90 = 4/90
