Slope= Rise over Run (Take the difference of the y's, divided by the difference of the x's) Slope (also called "m")= (4-0) / (0-3) = 4 / -3 3rd... Put in the format of the equation... There's different equations, but i'll use this: slope-intercept form y=mx+b m=slope b=y-intercept (which is 4) x and y are the points you plug in You know both already (you leave y and x the same in your answer)!!! yay So all you need is to plug m and b in y= (-4/3)x + 4 That's your answer!!!!! But you can put it in different forms, too Let's put everything onto one side Add 4/3x and subtract 4 from sides (4/3)x + y - 4 = 0 Now lets get rid of the fraction.
