Please answer this thanks I really appreciate it

Would this relationship be biotic or abiotic and why?

One example of the antlion experiencing competition is maybe when there is not enough prey around. The sandpit might not attract prey for the antlions at a particular time. This is competition since the antlion is competing for prey but the environment won't let the prey attract to the sandpit. The antlion won't have prey at the moment so it is competing hard to get prey for its own life.

Answer:

Abiotic relationship

Step-by-step explanation:

Antlions are the predators found in Georgia and in other tropical and temperate regions in the world. The main food source of antilion is ants and they trap their prey by making sandpit.

The given situation shows abiotic relationship because antilions are dependent on environmental factor (sandpit) which is abiotic and environmental factor that is sandpit is not favoring antilions to attract prey.

As, antilions (biotic) are dependent of sandpit (abiotic) for their food, the correct answer is "abiotic relationship".
