1075 ft^2

Explanation:

The figure shows two rectangles. In order to get the two areas, we should be able to find the area of each and add them together.

The formula of the area of the rectangle = L * W

First rectangle
= 25 * 8 = 200

Second rectangle = 25 * 35 = 875

Adding them together would yield 1075 sq ft.
