the literal definition is a well known for some bad quality or deed. Just think of a bad person in history. We would call that person Infamous because of his actions. This goes the same for Infamy. Hes saying that this horrible attack will live in Infamy(which means well known terrible thing) we will remember forever. Hope this helps
