PLZ HELP I REALLY NEED HELP ON THIS,

Write an absolute value equation that satisfies the following condition. The equation has two solutions: x=−5, and x=1.

-5+1=-4

-4/2=-2

equation is a|x-h|=y so let's plug some numbers in:

|x+2|=y

|1+2|=3

|x+2|=3

Answer:

X+10=5 for the first one and X+3=4 for the second

Explanation:

For the first one -5+10=5 so you just substitute the -5 for X. For the second one 1+3=4 so like the one before you just substitute the 1 for X.
