Answer:

adult's tickets a=5

child's tickets c=4

Explanation:

a+c=9

9a+3c=57

c=9-a

3a+c=19

3a+9-c=19

2a=10

a=5

c=9-a=9-5=4

Answer:

x =number of child tickets

y=number of adult tickets

x + y = 9

3x +9y = 57

x = 9-y

3(9-y) + 9y =57

27 - 3y + 9y = 57

6y = 30

y=5 adult tickets

x = 4 child tickets
