One way of fingerprinting is in legal matters/court cases. Fingerprinting can show you if you have any other family members or relatives you don't know about. It can identify the person of a dead body and it can identify any suspects for a crime that has been committed.
Another way of fingerprinting are for medical purposes. It can identify diseases that are passed down throughout your families history and find a way to solve those diseases. It can also match the tissues in the organs of a donor to find someone that needs that specific organ.
Best of Luck!
