Answer:

11^ -12 = 1/ 11^12

Explanation:

11^ -4 / 11^8

We know that a^b / a^c = a^(b-c)

11^ (-4 -8)

11^ -12

We also normally do not leave negative exponents

a^ -b = 1/ a^b

1/ 11^12

We can use the quotient rule to solve: a^b/a^c = a^b-c

= 11^-4/11^8

= 11^-4-8

= 11^-12

Use rule where a^-b = 1/a^b

= 1/11^12

Best of Luck!
