and parallel to y-axis

If a line is parallel to another line then they must possess same slope

slope of y-axis is
\tan 90^(\circ)

Now Equation of line is given by


\Rightarrow (y-(-5))/(x-2)=\tan 90^(\circ)

we know
\tan 90 \rightarrow \infty


x-2 must be zero for
(y-(-5))/(x-2)\rightarrow \infty

So,
x=2 is the equation of required line
