The answer should be 9+r=9

Explanation:

-4+9-r-5=0

do -4+(-5) which will give you -9

so, then you do 9+r-9=0

after that, with the -9, you do +9 under the -9 and where the 0 is, you put +9

that's how you get the answer 9+r=9
