2. Biceps are a muscle of the arm that stretch from the elbow to the shoulder. It has two muscle heads hence “biceps”. It is a flexor of the elbow. Triceps are extensors of the elbow and have 3 muscle heads that stretch on the posterior component of the arm from shoulder to elbow. Deltoids are large triangular muscles composed of an anterior head, lateral and poster heads. These muscles are responsible for shoulder joints movements.
