It causes us to experience day and night. Also causes change in tide, gravitational pull and Coriolis force- Deflection of objects (wind, ocean currents, missiles) from traveling in a straight path, in proportion to the speed of Earth's rotation at different latitudes. Deflection is to the right in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere; maxium at the poles and zero at the equator. The Earths rotation causes day and night. The revolution causes the seasons.
