Distance formula: (D = Distance)

D =
\sqrt{(x_(2) - x_(1))^(2) + (y_(2) - y_(1))^2 }

Now replace each variable

D =
√([(4-(-4)]^2 + (0-7)^2) The 4-(-4) would simplify to 0

D =
√((0)^2 + (-7)^2) Further simplify

D =
√(49)

D = 7, -7 Distance can't be negative

Thus, D = 7
