Explanation:

4f-3 = 5f-6

First I would try to get the f's on one side and the other numbers on the other, to do this you woudl have to add 6 to both sides

4f -3 = 5f -6

+6 +6

Making it into: 4f + 3 = 5f

Now to get the 4f on the other side we will have to subtract it from both sides

4f +3 = 5f

-4f -4f

3= f (Remember you do not have to put the 1, making 3 your answer)
