The area witch was felt the strongest is 3,943 miles extended.

Explanation:

If the Hurricane extend in all directions from the center then that means the Hurricane has a radius of 20 miles. So... with that being said Area =
\pi r^2.

Pi times 20 squared is going to get you 3,943.84. 3,943 is rounded to the nearest whole number witch is your answer.
