2x+3y=Binomial, it has two terms

4a+b+3c= Trinomial, it has three terms.

11d-7e=Binomial, it has two terms

The prefix of a word determines the number. (Such as Mono=One, Bi=Two, Tri=Three, etc) The suffix nomial means name. So the words mononomial, binomial, and trinomial are describing the number of terms using their prefix for the number and suffix to let you know it's number of terms.

Answer:

The first one is binomial

Second one is trinomial

Third one should be binomial

Explanation:

1. 2x + 3y = binomial

2. 4a + b + 3c = trinomial

3. 11d - 7e = binomial

(Hope this is right)
