When we multiply both sides of an inequality by a negative number the sense of the inequality is swapped.

So if we multiply both sides of

a < b

by -1 we find that

-a > -b

Answer: -a > -b

Answer:

You will know that b<a

Explanation:

Why? Well, it is simple really. They are OPPOSITES. Therefore, the inequality will be opposite.

Example:

a=1, b=2

1<2

a's opposite=-1, b's opposite=-2

-1>-2

-2<-1
