s = -b±√(b²-4ac)/2a

W = -5 ± √5² - 4(1)(-33)/2

= -5 ± 12.53/2

= 7.53/2 (since length cannot be negative)

= 3.755 inches

L = 3.755 + 5

= 8.755 inches
