so we know he already has $38 saved so we can now minus $108 - $38 which leaves us with $70 ! And 70/7= 10 !
So he has to work 10 hours to afford the bike !!

10 hours. 108-38= 70. 70 divided by 7 is equal to 10. Hence 10 hours
